Build a booking site

Build it in Lovable signs you in to Tempi, then opens Lovable with the prompt below and your own link already in it. Change anything you like, and send it. New to Tempi? Signing in creates your account.

Lovable builds a site that lists your event types, shows open times in each visitor’s time zone and books them. Tempi still checks your calendars, buffers and limits, sends the emails, and holds requests for your approval.

The prompt

Build a clean, mobile-friendly booking site for my Tempi scheduling link: https://meettempi.com/YOUR-HANDLE (YOUR-HANDLE is the part after meettempi.com/. If Tempi is connected as a connector here, get my handle from it with get_me).

Use Tempi's public booking API. It needs no API key and can be called from the browser. Errors are JSON: { "error": { "code", "message" } }.
- GET https://meettempi.com/api/v1/public/{handle} returns { name, eventTypes: [{ slug, title, description, durationMinutes, priceCents, currency, requiresApproval }] }.
- GET https://meettempi.com/api/v1/public/{handle}/{slug}/slots?timezone={IANA time zone}&from={ISO}&to={ISO} (at most 62 days apart) returns { timezone, days: [{ date, slots: [ISO start times] }] }.
- POST https://meettempi.com/api/v1/public/{handle}/{slug}/bookings with JSON { start, name, email, timezone, notes } books one of those slots. It returns { id, start, end, status, meetingUrl, manageUrl, paymentUrl }. status is "confirmed", "pending_approval" (a request the host still has to approve) or "pending_payment" (send the person to paymentUrl). A 409 with code "slot_unavailable" means someone just took that time: refresh the times.

Flow: show my event types. When one is picked, show the next 7 days of open times in the visitor's time zone, grouped by day. Ask for name, email and optional notes, then book. Show a confirmation with the time, the meeting link, and a link to manageUrl to reschedule or cancel. Say clearly when it's a request that isn't confirmed yet. Don't store anything yourself.

  1. In Lovable, open Connectors, choose + and then MCP server.
  2. Name it Tempi and paste one of the server URLs above. For your account, keep OAuth. For booking only, choose No authentication.
  3. Choose Add & authorize. For your account, sign in to Tempi and choose what Lovable may do: read only, or manage your account.

Good to know

The booking API is free and needs no key. It is on every Tempi plan.

Chat connections in Lovable are personal and aren’t part of your published site. The site calls the booking API itself.
